Project Kepler: a tellurion

Project Kepler was a final group design project for ME 130 at UC Berkeley created by myself, Jason Xu, and Sebastien Whetsel. The overall goal was to design an accurate model of the Earth, Moon, and Sun’s rotational velocities. The main input shaft drives the sun, with timing beIts rotating the Earth and Moon assemblies. I focused on creating CAD models for and manufacturing the timing belt, gear, and general mounting systems.
